Property Accounting Services Overview
Property Accounting Services is responsible for all asset management (property inventory) issues and distribution of all state and university asset management policies and procedures across campus, including but not limited to acquisitions, ownership, usage, reporting and disposal of such property.
Asset Custodian Dashboard Purpose
The Asset Custodian Dashboard provides a centralized view of all assets recorded in the FITC financial system. Its primary purpose is to give stakeholders clear visibility into the organization’s asset inventory and related details in a single, easy-to-access report.
This dashboard is useful for identifying asset numbers, assigned custodians, purchase dates, physical or assigned locations, and the funding sources associated with each asset. By consolidating this information, the dashboard supports effective asset tracking, accountability, and financial oversight, while also assisting with audits, reconciliations, and day-to-day asset management activities.
